Brief Answer: try some relaxation therapies Detailed Answer: Hi there XXXXXXX I am Dr Mittal, MD I have read your query. I empathize with you And am going to try to help you with the query. You see the medicines you are on had etirest. This is basically alprazolam, a medicine most often prescribed for anxiety disorders. Now that you have taken off the medicine, there is going to be an increase in the component of anxiety. I would suggest you try some relaxation therapies and keep some stress relievers around. They may help you remain calm and thereby avoid the anxiety. Taking the medicine long term is not a very good idea afterall Best of luck Dr Mittal
