Question: I was recently told that i have high blood pressure and am currently taking benicar htc to help control it its the 3rd of two meds that i have tried im feeling lighted dizzy and tired is this normal

I read your query and understood your concerns.

It's normal to feel light headed if the BP is above 160/95 mm Hg and you shouldn't worry for the moment. You should continue with Benicar HCT for at least 2-4 weeks to see any improvements.

If after one months the symptoms will persist you should do the following exams to exclude inner ear and neurological issues:
- Audiogram and ENT consultation
- Neck spine x ray for Spondiloarthrosis
- Neurological examination
