What Causes Tingling Sensations In The Head Post Oral Sex?

default
Posted on Sat, 19 Aug 2017
Question: 7/14 performed oral sex on male for about 30 seconds No ejaculation. No visible sores or discharge. Week later performed oral on woman and had sex. No symptoms of any stds. Been paranoid about gonorrhea, and other oral stds. I know my chances are low but still I have been obsessive over any symptom. Yesterday 7/27 started to feel tingle in head that started after masturbating, slight sting sensation and urge to pee as if pee needs to still come out. No pain at all. Is this UTI, sign of gonorrhea or chlamydia, or just my anxiety manifesting its self. Really paranoid and have it in my mind that I passed oral std then gave myself genital std after penetration.

Brief Answer:
Anxiety related most likely!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have reviewed your information fully and you are rightly concerned about these unprotected encounters and what the possible consequences are. I have also reviewed your symptoms and they don't seem to be specific or suggestive of a disease at this time: UTI, HIV or any other STDs. Anxiety seems to be taking the upper hand on you.

I recommend you stay calm and relaxed. This will eventually disappear. If anything else comes up, kindly keep me posted. In future, endeavor to take all precautions and save yourself from this unsettling worries.

I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
Kind regards

Thank you. That did ease my thoughts. The internet has lots of information, which is a curse at times. I have convinced myself that I caught something. I know the guilt of my act plays a big part. But when I read things about how one can have no symptoms but still have herpes and how one can contract herpes even if the infected has no outbreak. I am having my first child in less than 2 weeks and have been coming across stories of newborns dying after being kissed. Sorry to ramble, so I guess my question would be the transmission rate (if any) of herpes through oral sex.

Brief Answer:
No!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your worries but they are just way out of proportion. Be calm and relaxed and am more confident that you are safe than going to be sick. If anything changes in the interim, do keep me informed.

I hope this helps. I wish you well.
