Brief Answer:
Healthy lifestyle habits and medicine at low dose will take care of Bp

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am

I understand your concern for your health, after going through the medical history provided by you I would like to tell you that :

As the age advanced the blood vessels in our body goes stiffer due to age related degenerative process and fibrosis that happen in the vessel walls resulting in loss of their elasticity. This happens at different pace in different individuals. It's not just plaque or calcium that raise the blood pressure, this loss of elasticity also contributes in raising blood pressure.

In the general population, medical treatment should be initiated when blood pressure is 150/90 mm Hg or higher in adults 60 years and older, or 140/90 mm Hg or higher in adults younger than 60 years.

In addition to medical treatment changes in our lifestyle is also important which includes: daily morning walks for 45 minutes a day for 5 days a week, low dietary salt intake, avoiding junk, canned and deep fried food item, no smoking, eating good amount of fresh fruit and vegetables. Following this routine along with minimal dose of medicine will easily control your blood pressure.

I would also like to advise you to get one blood sugar level test done: HBA1c to rule out diabetes as it also weakness our nervous system causing numbness and tingling in various parts of our body.

I hope this information will answer your query. If you have any other doubts you can ask me back or else you can close the discussion and kindly rate the answer.

Kind Regards
