Brief Answer:
Glossitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic and thanks for putting up the query
Pain in tongue can be due to inflammation or any lesion on the tongue surface. It can be due to trauma during tongue bite or due to dentures.
Please send me the pictures of your tongue so that I can suggest you better.
Also tell me can you see any swelling or change in colour on the top of tongue.
The tingling sensation on the face can be a sign of calcium deficiency. Please get serum calcium levels done. it seems unrelated to the tongue pain as only tip of tongue is involved as you are saying.
Use hexidine mouthwash.
Avoid spicy foods and aerated drinks
Any further questions are always welcome.
Thanks and regards
