Brief Answer:
Meralgia paraesthetica. Needs medication, exercise, lifestyle modification

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX.

Thanks for the query.

It appears that your Doctor has decided on Meralgia paraesthetica as the diagnosis.

This is fairly common in individuals with hormonal issues, weight issues, diabetics.

Usually the treatment is conservative, you can try Tablet Nervigen P twice a day for 2 months. Application of ice or cold pack at the affected region. Treat the cause, like treat diabetes, hormonal diseases. Avoid wearing tight belts around the waist. Regular stretching and walking exercise will also help.

You may show to an Orthopaedic surgeon at Apollo Hospital or at Safdurjung.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
