default
Posted on Mon, 17 Nov 2014
Question: I'm a 22 year old female. Since 1 was 15 years old I have had pains, tingling in my arms and hands, it started in the lower part of my legs and now both legs and hands, some times the palms of my hands turn a faint bluish color that does not last long. Sometimes they hurt more right before I have a bowel movement, other times anytime during the day. The only time they don't hurt is when I. am running. Please tell me why.
I have been to the ER, Rheumatologist, sports physician and have had numerous blood test an MRI as well. Only to be told (stress, Lyme disease, blood clots) all results have come back negative.

may be Neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Thank you for writing on health care magic.

I have gone through your history

The tingling and numbness do point towards a nerve condition. It is normally unusual at this stage but it still can happen.

I do want to know if you have any additional complaints:

1. Do you experience dry eyes or dry mouth

2. Do you get oral ulcers or hair fall or rashes over the face.

3. Do you tend to get irritable at times

4. Have you got emg ncv done yet to see if it neuropathy

5. Do you tend to forget things at times

6. How about pain in other parts of the body

7. Any changes in your skin colour or texture??

8. Does the bluish discolouration happen every winters or it can happen anytime??

Do let me know these queries. I will be happy to help you out further

Take care

Regards
