What Causes Thickening Of Uterus After Having Norethisterone?

Question: Hi,
I have recently had a scan on my uterus which has showed thickening and I am feeling very anxious about it. I did take noresthisterone to delay a period last month and wondered if this could be related?

I am 34, had a baby 8 months ago and do not have abdominal pain, although have had heavy periods after having baby. I have 3 children and am not on any contraception, although do take high dose of GLA as get breast pain without it. What do you think the problem could be? thank you

Brief Answer:
Wait for biopsy report

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic
I understand your anxiety related to the issue.
But it seems related to the norethisterone intake but as you are giving history of heavy periods since delivery the report of biopsy holds a lot of importance.
In case biopsy is normal then nothing to worry as this is just age related transition of hormones which will subside by itself without any active treatment.
You can discuss the report of biopsy whenever you get the same.
