What Causes Tender Swelling On Back Of Head?
Question: My baby girl has a swelling at the back of here head, its about twice the size of a bean seed, its gives her pain when it is touched, she also has a smaller one to the left of head. what could this be.

Often injuries occur during a difficult labor and that could be a cause. Blood containing swellings can be tender to touch. Normally the blood gets re absorbed within a week or so and should not be present this long.
The second possibility would be an abscess which is simply another name for an encysted infection. It is difficult to comment without examining. I would insist you to visit a pediatrician and get it examined.

no, she was delivered normally and didnt have any problems before, the swelling appeared only recently, a week ago now.
