Posted on Mon, 9 Nov 2015
Question: I have a tender spot next to my navel on the right side! I had an endometrial biopsy about two weeks ago Could that be part of the healing? Aleve takes the pain away. It is just sensitive to touch not all the time!

Brief Answer:
Yes, it can be due to biopsy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Yes, for sure it can be due to performed biopsy. Especially if the tissues inside the abdomen where the target of biopsy.
In some cases, hematoma due to biopsy can be present in the soft tissues. Usually it gives some hardness, redness and lump palpable. If you have such symptoms, soft tissues ultrasound should be done.
If its just the pain, you may wait and see.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
