Brief Answer:
Telogen effluvium. I suggest a biotin supplement

Detailed Answer:
hello. thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist).
I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern.

She has acute telogen effluvium. Her hair fall is quite expected but this phase is self limiting and her hair would ultimately recover. Telogen is the shedding phase of hair. Normally after a major illness like typhoid or jaundice, a large number of hair will enter into telogen phase which will manifest as precipitous hair fall. This phase usually begins after 1-3 months of illness and may last for 3 months before spontaneously subsiding by which time the hair again re-enters growth phase i.e anagen.
I would suggest her to consume healthy food whuch allows her body and hair fall to recover from illness. She may take a biotin supplement e.g tablet H-vit forte once daily for 3-4 months.

Regards
