Question: can getting hit side ways by a car cause my occipital lymph nodes to swell dramaticly as they have

Yes,if there was neck distension it head hit then it is possible that lymph nodes or cervical muscles become enlarged. However,it may be sign of any infection in your body especially respiratory one. In every case,there is no need to be concerned at this point,you should take ibuprofen and observe the size of node.if there will be size progression then you should do ultrasound and wbc. my occipital lymph nodes have been swollen for over 6 years and no relief in sight. cant sleep good to much neck pain/discumfort.changed pillows many times no help.what next???
