What Causes Swollen Lymph Node On The Neck?

Question: i have a smallish but hard swollen lymph node on the back of my neck near my left ear, its only mildly painful when i push on it, i have a cold/cough at the moment and recently had a psoriasis flare up on my scalp.. is it likely this is the reason.

Yes, throat infection is the most common and most probable reason of it. Single lymph node on the neck is not something you should be worried about.
Please just have an eye on it. If it will get larger than you should have it checked. Ultrasound is a good way to do that.

But for now, no need to do anything with it.
