default
Posted on Sat, 29 Oct 2016
Question: I think I am getting over what it were but, have some unexpected residuals to include what feels like my eyballs are pressurized.
It started a 5 days ago with swollen gland to the right side of my neck and progressed to aches all over and a complete lack of appetite in last two days I have been shivering and sweating a ton - woke up this morning sopping wet including the sheets....so I think i am out the other side of the thing. Passed what food was in me for the past few days this morning. Just that high pressure eyeball thing - not uncomforatable but noticable . Mild front of head headache sort of like the feeling you get after taking an impact where it feels like your brain is trying to catch up with the skull - any ideas

Brief Answer:
You need to get examined by a neurologist and investigated

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.

This seems to be due to some infection involving lymph node.

Is there any swelling over eyeball, redness, visual blurring?

In case of associated eye pain and headache possibility of intracranial infection can be there.
You should get examined by a doctor preferably neurologist and get investigation as required.
Oral antibiotics (eg. Co-amoxyClav 625mg twice daily for 7-10 days) for lymph node swelling and pain killers (Tylenol) can be taken(please get the appropriate prescription from your local physician).

Hope you found the answer helpful.
