Brief Answer:
Its side effect of Hormone Replacement Therapy. But I need further details

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear XXXX!

I welcome you at my virtual clinic and will help you relieve the symptoms. It seems to be due to your HRT that has started a side effect of peripheral edema. Its a common side effect with many medications including Blood pressure pills like Norvasc.
My question is, are you taking any other medicines too?
what is the status of your blood pressure?
If you press with your thumb for sometime deep on the swelling and release the thumb, is there is pit/dent formation?

please answer the questions so as to better assist you.

Regards!

Brief Answer:
Its insignificant edema due possibly to HRT

Detailed Answer:
My VERY dear XXXX!

I welcome you back here with me and appreciate your patience and cooperation to help me come to a final assessment. I want to assure you that it's very mild pedal edema beneath the ankles - that is totally insignificant clinically. It doesn't pose any risk to your health. It may probably be due to HRT which you are on for a few years. But it doesn't mean that you stop taking medicine. The benefits of HRT obviously overweigh your concerns and you need that medicine. Keep an eye over your blood pressure, and if you ever feel a swelling in front of the leg bone (tibia), please contact me again or go to your physician.

Right now you need nothing to worry about. I hope it helped you today and Please don't forget to leave a five star feedback on this question and a review at my profile so that I may be in a better position to serve you in future too.

Regards!
