You have mentioned the cause as fat necrosis with cystic degeneration. In this condition, there is no obstruction to lymph flow.

In lymphatic obstruction, usually the entire limb gets swollen, not a localised collection of fluid.

In cystic degeneration, fluid can reaccumulate after drainage, so that is possible.
