Brief Answer:
To check for endometriosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I understand your concerns about unilateral eye swelling during menstruation.

Thus happens in very rare case of endometriosis involving one eye. There is possibility of endometrial tussue growung in one eye leading to swelling due to bleeding from endometrial tissue in eye.

This needs to be examined carefully by a team of gynecologist and ophthalmologist. Please get the diagnosis confirmed.

If it turns out to be endometriosis you need to take hormonal injections to prevent swelling.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
