Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

I reviewed your history. The symptoms of swelling and watering in the eye indicate infection of the eye in the form of conjunctivitis. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotic eye drops.
If possible do send a photo of the affected eye so that I can advice your question more accurately after confirming the diagnosis.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

Brief Answer:
You need to take antibiotic eye drops also.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

Moxikind is a antibiotic and it need to be used for its full course of 5 days.
Antibiotic eye drops are required for quicker relief from symptoms. Usually I prefer to use antibiotic eye drops like ciprofloxacin eye drops.

Since the infection appears to be mild no need of any precautions and this will resolve with the above treatment.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Brief Answer:
It requires use of antibiotic eye drops.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

I saw the photo of the affected eye. It shows inflammatory swelling of the gland of the eyelids in the form of hodreolum.
This requires treatment by the use of oral antibiotic and antibiotic eye drops.
You need to continue Moxikind tablet which is a oral antibiotic.
Along with this I prefer to use antibiotic eye drops like Moxifloxacin eye drops 2-4 times a day one drop each.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
