    What causes swelling, burning, itching and pus filled eyelids?

Question: 52 yr. old female. Woke up this morning & eyelids were fluid filled & swollen. My eyelids burn & itch & are red. Actual eyes feel fine.

I am so sorry to hear about this swollen eyelids that you have reported. I have reviewed your information fully and this is suggestive of a possible allergy. I am not sure if you applied any new beauty products to the face. If you did, then that is the most likely cause. Benadryl is a good drug for allergies and I will like you to continue with it. We will only investigate further if symptoms fail to regress on this medication. Also, if there is any new addition to your beauty product box, please drop it as it could be the most likely cause of this allergic reaction.
