Question: Hi i have some extra growth or swelling under my mouth exactly under jaw. I went to local ENT doctor and he told nothing to worry. I am having this for last 5 months and i am feeling discomfort in throat and neck. I have 2 small bumps under skin for last 1 year and it came like a heat boil and reside permanently. I am worried if its cancerous and want to have a second opinion about the same
Recently 3 weeks before I had Septroplasty and turbnoplasty surgery by my ENT surgeon.
The swelling below my jaw is light painful and it can be moved and have pain below my ears on both sides. Most of the times in the last few weeks i see my ears are clogged and light pains here and there around my neck, Jaw, head etc. Also pain near nose when pressed.
Please help me on this.

Brief Answer:
Most probably it is not the cancerous growth

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your query and image uploaded by you; it suggests that most probably it is not a cancerous growth.

But to rule out other disease it is absolutely necessary that you may go for
1. USG of the neck and
2. FNAC of the neck swelling if necessary.

Either send me the report for further management or consult with your doctor.

Thanks for the reply doctor.

If its not cancerous, kindly request you to let me knwo what are the possible other diseases?

Again one more question, my doctor (ENT surgeon) said its mostly like a second chin and nothing to worry. Does the second chin can come easily like this immediately or its not second chin and only gland enlargement?

What is the possibility of cancer in this case? Want to know from your understanding on how it is to be treated?

Brief Answer:
Most probably it is the submental lymphadenopathy

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your follow up query; it suggests that most probably it is the sub mental lymphadenopathy.

Other possibility may be the cystic mass or benign disease.

According my best of knowledge it is not the second chin but the only gland enlargement.

Possibility of cancer in this case is rare.
Treatment or management depends upon the above mentioned test result.

Thanks doctor.

Final query what is the root cause of this issue?

I have been diagnoised with mild sinus is it because of that? Or I frequently have heart burns and digestion problems because of that? or finally my skin is very much infected and i shave daily, and I see 2 boils that came in my neck (Exactly near the lump swelling) and is it because of that?

Please help me to rectify this issue.

Thanks
