What Causes Swelling And Itching In The Clitoris?

Question: for a couple of days now my clitoris has been swollen, itchy, and sore. I don't know what to do and what could of caused this. What do you think?

do you think it is possible to have an enlarged clitoris because of birth control

Taking a birth control cannot cause an enlargement of clitoris. The pain and itching associated with enlargement are further suggestive of an infection.
