Brief Answer:
Discontinue the Azelastine nasal spray immediately

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. This seems to be an allergic reaction to the Azelastine Nasal Spray, especially if it is the only new medication that you have used among the list.

2. Discontinue the Azelastine Spray immediately and inform your physician.

3. Azelastine is an anti-allergy medication and hence should not cause such reactions. There is either a direct allergy or a cross reaction. Sometimes it may be the preservatives, stabilizers or propellant that is the culprit. A different brand may be tried after this reaction subsides.

4. Soft tissue infection and cellulitis of the cheek should be ruled out by a direct examination. Is the red area itching or warm to touch?

I hope that I have answered your queries. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
