What Causes Suicidal Thoughts While Having PCOD?

Question: Hello Doctor,

My name is XXXXXXX I need help... I have been suffering since last 4 years and it was normal for me as I had PCOD, but now every moment I think of committing Suicide. I am not able to sleep properly. Every night I wake up suddenly and feel like screaming and crying. I am not able to control my anger. Many a times I have even tried to kill myself or my boyfriend just because of anger. Actually its all because of him. We have been in a relationship since last 10 years but since last 4 years I have caught him red-handed chatting with many other girls but still he never accepts that he has affair with anyone else. He even does not breaks-up with me. We are in a live-in relationship. Since last 1 year its nothing less than a mental torture to me. Its only because he lies to me. Only one thing I cannot take is the lie. but still he hides things from me just because I don't like it. Now the condition is I even see myself committing suicide in my dreams also I feel like there is someone always near me(whenever I am alone at home)screaming and asking me to see help and save her life. I live alone mostly and only things I can feel is to hang myself or to burn myself or stab myself with a knife. I have never made friends so that I can devote all my time to my boyfriend so I even cannot share my feelings to anyone. Not even my parents and they now want me to marry him.I don't think he loves me anymore. But my love is still the same. I find it difficult to hold my tears in public. Even I sometimes shout in my office as well without any reason. I have started to drink and smoke because of that. Please help. I can't explain what I am going through. I don't want to die. Please help.

•     Anxiety, low mood, crying spells
•     Excessive anger, Inability to control anger
•     Loss of interest in pleasurable activities
•     Loss of confidence
•     Ideas of hopelessness
•     Self harm ideas

Apart from that concurrently you have stress related to personal life with BF which can exacerbate your depression. Depression is not always situational (because of stress). •     Talk frequently with family members. If parents want you to marry then discus about it with BF.
•     Most important visit psychiatrist with BF so that he can counsel you about your interpersonal issues and prescribe medicine for depression (if needed). Now very good medicines available for depression. People life changes within weeks of treatment. Apart from counselling treatment like Cognitive behavior therapy and relaxation therapy help greatly in treatment.

Can you please share your clinic address. I don't know if my BF would come with me as several times I tried to consult a doctor but he did not supported me. But I want to visit this time. Also let me tell you that he himself has talked to parents for our marriage but now I doubt if he really wants to. he does not talks to me. its just lie and fake love that lies in his heart for me.
