What Causes Sudden Onset Of Cloudy Vision?

default
Posted on Wed, 9 Nov 2016
Question: I experience episodes of moving, smokey clouds in my vision, most noticeable in dark rooms. At the same time my overall vision seems "dimmer". The episodes last about 3 days and are not associated with headache. However, they do seem to be triggered by sharp changes in the barometer, but this may be a coincidence. Any ideas?

Brief Answer:
Vision problem diagnoses

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. It can be due to many causes like

: Eye disease Glaucoma
: Brain tumor
: Occipital lobe lesion
; retinal artery partial occlusion
: Stroke

First you should consult ophthalmologist. He will examine your eyes, visual acuity,, fundus, eye pressure. It will confirm diagnosis of eye disease.

If everything normal, then he will advise MRI brain to exclude CNS cause. If still doubt, get USG doppler neck vessels.

If you get the reports, please send me, I will tell you the treatment after confirmation.
hope it will help you. Thanks.
