Brief Answer:
CT scan required to rule out blood collection in the skull

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

The symptoms described by you seems to be alarming. A CT scan of the head has to be done to rule out either collection of blood or bleeding inside the skull and any fracture.

The earlier you do, it is better. Once, the neurological deficits sets in then treatment becomes difficult.

Hope this answers your query. Revert back to me if you have any follow up queries.

Should he go to sleep? It is after 3 am. It is too icy here to go out.

Brief Answer:
I'm afraid, there should be no delay in consulting the doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for writing back

I would suggest you to consult the doctor at the earliest. The reason, we are not sure what’s happening in the brain. I would not take the risk of putting him to sleep, unless, we are sure everything is normal in the brain.

Hope this clarifies your doubts.
