What Causes Subarachnoidal Hemorrhage?

default
Posted on Tue, 27 May 2014
Question: I had a subarachnoid hemorrhage 5 wks.ago. fortunately I was at an appt. Where they knew to call 911. Iwas in the hospital for 16 days. 2 angiograms showed no anuerysms. Iwill have another angiogramina couple of weeks. What can cause this to happen if not an anuerysm? Stress??? I am a 65 yr. old female otherwise healthy. I was at a therapists appt. and she knew to call 911. While at the appt. I was trying very hard not to cry and it was like I could actually feel the pressure increase. Could this have caused a hemmorage? I have no symptoms whatsoever that mowt stroke victims have. Did I actually then have a stroke? Thankyou

Brief Answer:
No stroke

Detailed Answer:
Dear
I am sorry for the health symptoms you have suffered
I am happy that now the most difficult part has gone.
Subarachnoidal heamorrhage don't have stroke signs, the only symtoms lead to diagnose is headache.
As your angiograms were normal you have nothing to fear.
You should check your blood presion often because hypertension can be the cause of SH.
If no aneyrysm is found probably it is a idiopatic heamorrhage with no cauce
I am glad you are fine now
Best regards
