What Causes Strange Odour In Urine With Blue And Black Marks On Forearm?
Question: Three weeks ago I found my urine has a strong odor. The odor does not flush away and is difficult to wash away. I havent had sex with anyone in 4 years. For 11 months prior to that I a normal sex life with one person. who had black and blue marks all the way up both forearms.Prior to that I hadnt had sex in six years.My doctor said he had not heard of black and blue forearms were a sign of HIV.

I read your question and i understand your concern. History of coitus with some one with black and blue arms that too four years ago is not HIV just by symptoms of foul smelling urine. COitus is not the only way to get foul smelling urine. High ammonia in urine can cause foul smell. It could be related to some food you recently ate like asparagus or certain vitamins.
Dehydration or reduced water intake, deranged metabolic profile like diabetes mellitus or bladder infections can all lead to foul smelling urine with strong odor. Just get a urine routine exam and let a doctor evaluate your symptoms and then clinically correlate it.
