What Causes Stomach Upset, Nausea And No Appetite?

Question: I feel sick to my stomach, nausea, no appetite, thirsty, temp 101, sweat during the night to the point the i am soaked more than once. Headache everyday since Sat. XXXXXXX 21. diarrhea last night once. What do I have. Everyday I wake up I feel the same no change.

The concern is that this might be some type of infection. Viruses or bacteria might contribute to this. If you have been on antibiotics within the last couple of weeks this might contribute to disruption of the normal bacteria in your intestines. This can contribute to persistent diarrhea.

At this point it is extremely important that you maintain good fluid hydration. Would recommend hydration with water or electrolyte containing beverage such as Gatorade. Usually this will run its course within a week or so. In your case since this is persistent I would recommend that you schedule an appointment with your primary care physician to discuss your symptoms and possibly consider some type of antibiotic therapy to help restore the normal balance.
