Brief Answer: it can be gastritis Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing to HCM. Your stomach pain can be due to gastritis, but to be sure a few more details are needed, like - 1- in which part of your stomach the pain is? 2- does the pain increase immediately after food or 2-3 hours later or is not related to food? 3- is there any nausea or fever or burning sensation during urination? Waiting for your reply. Dr. Ashish Verma

Brief Answer: its a infection Detailed Answer: Hi, Pain in stomach with fever is definitely infection. And you being a diabetic, makes it serious. You need to see a physician for a physical examination, followed by a few blood and urine tests like complete blood count, malarial antigen (if its common in your area), urine routine, and an ultrasound of your abdomen. Further management will depend upon the above reports. Till then, he may start you on antibiotics and analgesics to control your symptoms. Regards Dr. Ashish Verma
