What Causes Stomach Cramps, Loose Stool And Body Ache In A Diabetic Patient?

Question: Hi Doctor,
My wife has diabetes since her teenage time, she is 31 years old & she takes Jalra 50 mg along with Limcee vitamins, she is forgetful too. Currently, she is having high fever & loose motion. Few months back she had the same problem we consulted a doctor, doc said it was IBS and gave medicines. She was ok after taking the below prescribed medicines:
-Tab Metrozyl
-Tab Gasplus
-Tasectan XXXXXXX
-Tab Spasmonorm.

She was cured after taking above medicines. But now she is having the same problems. She is not able to digest food properly, not able to shit properly either, the food gets stored inside the tummy which makes the sugar to go up. She has non stop loose motion, stomach cramps,104 degree fever, her stomach feels very full despite of not eating, she feels like throwing up, body ache, severe gastric. First she gets constipated, then comes severe gastric & after that severe loose motion,it makes her stomach too tired, mucus comes out from the shit and sometimes blood too. Looking above at all the symptoms I feel that she is suffering from G.I gastrointestinal infection or stomach infection. Her diabetes doctor has doubted GI. Please prescribe suitable oral medicines that would cure her and which shouldn't probably come back along with measures to avoid this sickness in future.
Thanks ®ards,

Brief Answer:
Can be typhoid fever.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The symptoms that you have described are suggestive of GI infection but the high grade fever that she is having is worrisome. It is best to get a few blood tests done to rule out a bacterial infection like Typhoid.
She needs a physical evaluation to estimate the severity of illness before any drug prescription. Since she is a diabetic she needs a regular light diet more o fluids with medicines for symptomatic treatment. Medicines like Omeprazole, Lomotil, antacids, domperidone and paracetamol are needed for symptomatic improvement. Do consult a qualified general physician for proper investigations and related antibiotics.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.

Brief Answer:
Typhoid not present.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
I have seen the attached reports. These are not suggestive of typhoid fever. There is no prescription attached. The high grade fever is suggestive o an infection. Taking antibiotics for 3-4 days will help in decreasing the fever.
Hope my answer is helpful.
Do accept my answer in case there are no further queries.
Regards.

The last two reports with prescriptions were uploaded later.

Detailed Answer:
I received only three attachments which showed the reports only. The last two attachments were uploaded later - after i had replied to your last query. Anyways if you don't need an opinion it is up to you.
It is better to know the truth before making an opinion about someone whom you don't know.
