It worsened year after year and from last year i need to go whenever I take food. Also from past 3 years i am getting sticky stools. From last month I am also facing that after having food my stomach will be bloated, increased in size and i feel it tight after having food. I feel my digestive system is getting worsen day by day please help in curing this. From my childhood onwards I do not have the habit of taking milk, curd, or buttermilk as I will get vomiting if i take any of these. I can manage taking milk after mixing boost but I dint take all these years. From last 12 years I am taking hotel food, so it might also be reason for screwing my digestive system.

Brief Answer:
Irritable bowel syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

You are probably suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.
You can get come relief with a course of rifaximin and Librax and Ibset.
Few tests need to be done and that includes complete blood count, stool analysis, thyroid function test, test for celiac disease/small biopsy and a colonoscopy.

The bloating could be due to functional dyspepsia. You may get relief with medications like lesuride.

You can discuss with your gastroenterologist about the possibility of irritable bowel syndrome and for the tests and prescription of the medications mentioned above.
I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.

Thank you doctor. I have few questions.

Is irretable bowl syndrome completely curable? what causes this? what type of food need to be taken to avoid this in future?

What would be the course of rifaximin and Librax and Ibset? i.e. how many tablets per day to be taken and at what time (for how many days). Also can I take lesuride along with these?

Brief Answer:
Answer given below

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Irritable bowel syndrome is a functional disease which cannot be cured completely but you can keep the symptoms under control.
As far as diet is concerned you have to eliminate the following - honey, milk products, onion, garlic, wheat, lentils, beans and fruits that have seeds.

As far as the medications is concerned, you need to discuss with your gastro doctor as online prescription is not allowed.

Regards,
Dr.R.K.
