Thank you.

I had a viral fever and cold last week and post this I started getting pain. Initially I thought this could be due to cough but now it I'm worried it's not due to that.

I don't recall getting hit or injured. The pain comes and goes with stabbing even when in still position..

I tried rotating my arms and doesn't see like it's position related.

Let me know if you insist on getting any tests done.

Last two months back I had cholesterol check and it came little high. I was hoping to get ECG done tomorrow.

Thanks, and hope you're doing well.

Brief Answer:
Looks to be viral myalgia or so.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
Read and understood your history of viral fever.
Viral fever is known to cause such symptoms as you have explained. There is affection of the muscles and the parts as I discussed above.
Please take anti-inflammatory medicines with painkiller properties like Ibuprofen at 8 hourly interval after food.

Getting ECG done is a good decision, it is always the best to rule out any cardiac reasons.
I think the best option is to get examination by a Doctor, so that further investigations can be planned as per the clinical findings.

Brief Answer:
Actual examination by a Doctor and Cardiologist's opinion.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your appreciation.
Get an opinion from the Doctor who did the ECG or consult a Cardiologist just to have a cardiac checkup and an opinion.
Also get an X-ray of the chest and actual physical examination. It is already more than a week.

ECG does not look to be normal, Need Cadiologist's opinion.

Detailed Answer:
The ECG does not look to be normal.
Hence the need to consult a Cardiologist ASAP to do a complete cardiac evaluation and of course to see for the pain you have.

Hello Doctor,

I visited the cardiologist today In XXXXXXX Asia and he said ECG looks fine. He then did some 3d scanning and said the pain is due to injury caused by cough that I had week back.

He asked me to get the Troponin test done which I did and the results came out normal.

Thank you always for your help

Nice to know that you got the proper consultation and investigations done.
