What Causes Spotting While Trying To Conceive?

Question: I have a regular 27 to 29 day cycle. I am actively trying to conceive. On day 20 of this cycle I am currently on day 23 I started having on and off pink spotting. I am still getting pink spotting and its like a brownish colour now. A panty liner does me all day. But my period isnt due for another 4 to 6 days. A pregnancy test is negative. What is wrong with me I am really worried and scared. I never get spotting and never have had in my entire life.

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Spotting and slight bleeding on day 20 - 24 of the cycle is common if one has conceived and the bleeding is due to implantation bleeding.
Urine pregnancy test will be positive once you miss the periods.
I suggest you to wait for the periods and if delayed, then do get a urine pregnancy test done to confirm the diagnosis.

I am always let down with pregnancy tests so what else could be the cause? I am still light bleeding now totally different to a period how long will it last if it is implantation bleeding. I have pain like period pain only started with pain today. Thanks

Hi dear, implantation bleeding usually lasts for 3-4 days.
Other than implantation bleeding, it can be irregular bleeding due to low progesterone in the body.

I have start what seems a normal period with spotting does it mean I am fertile and can conceive naturally?
