What Causes Spotting Of Blood On Stitches In The Wound Site?

Question: Hello Doctor. I had XXXXXXX BSO surgery 4 weeks ago. It was a vertical cut. Today there is blood coming out from the top most stitch, as per the picture below. What should I do? Should I be worried?

Hello ma'am,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your images and in my opinion you should not worry about it.
The blood come out due to stiches react with body tissue ( if stitches does not dissolve) .
So do not worry about it, clean it with betadine liquid and spirit and apply neosporin powder on it.
