Hi, I do not know if the Hairfall and the Throat issues are related to each other. I doubt it very much though.
From what you have described a course of antibiotics like Levaquin 500mg twice a day for 10 days might be beneficial for the sore throat. You can take an over the counter nasal decongestant available at your local pharmacy as well.
For the Hair fall, I need more information. When did you first notice it? Has the hair been falling evenly or in patches? Do you have any issues with the scalp? Itchiness redness etc?
