Question: I have a bruise on my calf and noticed today that I have a small lump and it is sore to touch. I have ran 30+ miles this week could this be the cause of the bruising and lump?

The lump is more like a knot, it is the size of a pencil eraser, the skin is a purplish color like a bruise and is not warm to touch.
