Brief Answer:
Yes, you can!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

If you have difficulties sleeping tonight because of this sore forearm, taking a short course of Benadryl as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist would be okay to help you get some sleep.

Difficulties falling asleep may also signify that Aleve is not the appropriate pain medication . There are more powerful pain medications or a combination of different pain medications to increase their efficacy on pain management. How bad is your pain on a scale of 0-10 with) being no pain and 10 being the worse pain ever?

However, should this pain not regress, it would be necessary to get the arm examined again to make sure we are not missing out on anything that needs a different approach. If I may ask, what is the cause of this sore forearm?

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more
