Question: I have small bumps on my tongue that are white, my tongue is swollen and it hurts when I touch it or rub it against my teeth. what should I do to take care of it?

I have gone through your query, dont worry Lwalex small bumps can be raised Papillae (taste buds) present on tongue or it can be ulceration also caused by sharp edges of teeth that hurts your tongue, or it can be due to Vitamin deficiency . What I will suggest you Lwalex you maintain good oral hygiene , use tongue cleaner to clean your tongue . -Do Mouthwash Chlorhexidine twice daily. - Take Vitamin supplements Capsule once daily for one week . - You can apply Analgesic Ointment Mucopain or Dologel twice daily on painful areas of tongue. - Consult dentist and go for oral examination and go for trimming of sharp edges of tooth if any present . -Hope I answered your query.
