Question: My daughter has a small black dot under the upper eye lid - on the eye ball itself. The eye feels like it has something in it. Her vision is normal.

My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
What we have to know is the duration of this spot.How long has it been there.If it has been there for a long time meaning since teens then it is more likely to be a mole or conjunctival melanosis which are asymptotic and do not need any treatment.
If of a recent origin the it has to be watched and progress monitored preferably by dated photographs.
Get back to me with more information and photographs if possible.
