Certainly yes.
As the sweating predisposes to infection and blockage of any duct can make it swell, go into infection like a boil and since it is the skin structure becomes extremely painful.

It is a raw colour. I have been working very long hours over the past 3 days & have only had about 3 hours sleep each night. My job consists of being on my feet. Could uncomfortableness be a result of sweating

Is there anything I can do for this?

Brief Answer:
As advised.

Detailed Answer:
Have Sitz bath in a tub with warm water.
Tap the area dry with cotton cloth or hair dryer.
Apply liquid povidone iodine.
Take an anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen if it suits you in proper dosages to get the inflammation and pain under control.
It is always better to get started on proper antibiotic; you need a valid prescription of your Doctor.
