What Causes Slightly Elevated Liver Enzymes?

Question: I had a lab panel done, hormone, thyroid, cholesterol, vitamin d, etc. My Dr, let me know over the phone that all looked good, however, my liver enzymes were elevated. I understand there are different #, I was taken by XXXXXXX I recall the #,s were 62 and 74, She ordered hep tests. I am very frightened, I never did intravenous drugs, I have had several tattoos, from reputable, I saw the needles come from an auto clave, I live a clean life. I drank a lot in my early years, probably have consumed alcohol 10 in the last year. I don't do drugs, and have a limited amount of over the counter medication, Tylenol, Advil, Benadryl, Alprazolam and doc-q-lace.

In case you don't have any symptoms there is nothing to worry as this mild elevation of liver tests can be due to various simple reasons like dehydration during the time of testing and certain drugs in near past like, quinine or even paracetamol.
Just wait for the test reports and let me know so that I can advice you accordingly.
Till then take ample amount of water and cod liver oil (in case you take it) along with almonds and walnuts which are very good for vitality of important organs like liver.

Thankyou for your response. I also didnt mention that I also was sick and was just coming off cymbalta with my last pill taken earlier that week. again thankyou, the doctor just freaked me out.

Its alright to have mild elevation of liver enzymes while having fever so just take good amount of water and also avoid heavy and fatty foods for a couple of weeks.
