What Causes Sleeplessness After Having Tylenol?

Question: I currently have severe vertigo. The doctor gave me a nasal spray and ativan and antivert. They seem to work somewhat but I cannot sleep is Tylenol PM ok to take

Hello dear, welcome to HCM forum.

You are already taking an antihistamine (antivert/meclizine) and a benzodiazepine (Ativan/lorazepam). Both these drugs can cause sedation; if still you have difficulty to get into sleep, you can try single dose of zolpidem 10 mg once if available. Avoid repeated use as it can cause added CNS depression with antivert and ativan.
Tylenol PM(acetaminophen+diphenhydramine) is unlikely to help further- acetaminophen is useless and diphenhydramine is a weak sedative.
