What Causes Skin Lesions In Groin Area?

Question: I am a 54 year old male, married for 30+ years. Monogamous with my wife for all of the years, totally.

Last week on Tuesday I went for a sensual massage and was totally taken off guard when the female masseuse started to give me oral sex, a blow job. I should have said no, should have stopped it but didn’t know how to react. In fact, I did have an orgasm within 2 minutes. She finished the actually full massage and I left.

I was nervous and was uncomfortable, never having compromised my sexuality before, certainly not wanting to harm my wife, my relationship or our physical/emotional health either.

This week on Sunday I felt an itch, or a slight irritation and scratched myself between my leg and scrotum. I think I scratch unnecessarily hard and I think I caused one or two small abrasions, but I’m not sure if I actually cause them or they developed as a result of the experience I had.

As I was concerned, I decided to call the gal who performed the massage and openly asked her if she had any STD, or should I be concerned and she politely said no.

Nevertheless, I have decided I need a) to get some feedback immediately. I cannot go to our family doctor as its too embarrassing and really appreciate this service.

Last night I took a picture of the area of concern and have uploaded a picture of it, the best I could take. As you can see, there are two small areas that I’m concerned about. I have no other symptoms of STD that I know of, never having had to worry about this, I sincerely know nothing about it.

Its humiliating and embarrassing but I am a loving responsible husband who’s judgment lapsed for a moment. I’m looking for clarity and know that I will need to find a doctor to take blood to get full clarity.

In the meantime, can you look at the area and tell me anything from this information and the picture? Given the nature of the experience, guessing this gal isn’t the most scrupulous person in the world, how fearful should I be? Can you get anything from limited exposure like receiving oral sex for such a short time? How long would it take for anything to manifested in my body and given the scenarios I’ve described, should I continue to refrain from relations with my wife?

I will be seeing a doctor next Tuesday. What should I ask him to test for? How long does a blood test take to tell if I got infected with any STD?

I did not see where I can send you the picture and hope you'll be able to give me that information, how I can share it with you.

Your prompt reply is greatly appreciated

Xerosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

The photo you have applied only shows a lesion which has developed due to scratching an area of dry skin. It is not suggestive of an std.

An std usually develops with 2 weeks in the form of fever and skin lesions usually blisters or ulcers over the genital area. So I suggest that you refrain from having sex with your wife until you get tested.
Hiv is less likely as there was no exchange of bodily fluids apart from saliva.

Any exposure to a commercial sex worker calls for work up for std including vdrl, herpes and syphillis.

As you did not have sex per say and there was no exchange of blood you are less likely to contact any infection but it is always better to be sure and safe

I hope I was of help . if you have any further queries please get back to me Regards
