Brief Answer:
Has there been any change over these 4weeks?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this discoloration on the tip of your penis. I have taken a look at the attached image and it is not suggestive of an STD or a local active infection. This looks more like a local reaction to something that I cannot tell what the precise cause is.

If this hasn't change over 4weeks and causes no symptoms, I will like to see you adopt a watchful waiting attitude and let's see what changes would take place if any. In several cases without any clear cause, this discoloration often disappears over tie without any specific treatment. Local creams at times help hasten the clearing off but I would want to accord more time to nature to observe and understand what exactly is going on and only intervene with trial of various creams if need be.

In all, not an alarming condition right now. I would like to play around with time and gather more information while also anticipating of spontaneous resolution. I would only want to try creams if this fails to regress significantly over a 4 weeks period.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Thank you for your observation and tentative diagnosis.

Should I avoid intercourse during this waiting period? Also, what creams do you suggest if the discoloration does not dissipate in a few weeks?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
No need to avoid intercourse!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for following up with me.

There is no point in avoiding intercourse at this tie. feel free to carry on with your habitual sexual practices. Always remember to protect yourself during intercourse using as STDs are rampant and remain a reality.

As for creams, the most commonly prescribed are steroid based creams. I will not make any specific recommendation at this time until I am convinced you need for to clear off this spot.

I wish you well.
