What Causes Shock Sensation And Tingling During Urination?

Question: Dear Doc - I had consulted your earlier regarding my mother . She had UTI , which was treated and there was relapse , for which the doctor had prescribed LEVOFLOX...Since past 2-3 days , she is experiencing a shock kind of sensation while urinating (dont know how best to describe this tingling effect) . Also she experiences heat on the sole of her feet while walking . Request your advice on the same.

Heat sensation on the feet can be part of diabetic neurpathy can take amytriptyline or gabapentin for that under guidance of your doctor.

urine burning sensation should be evaluated. do urine routine and culture to confirm if there is any infection. you can take antibiotics if infection and urine alkalizing agents, fluvoxate ( urispas) to control the burning sensation.
