Brief Answer:
Check your serum vitamin B12 level and HbA1C

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM,

97 blood sugar is completely normal while taking Glipzide 5 and metformin 500 diabetic medications.

Burning pain over feet is likely because of vitamin B12 deficiency or temporary nerve compression, first possibility I would think in your case.

So,I would suggest you to check your serum vitamin B12 level with glycosylated hemoglobin (HBA1C) which shows your last 3 months average blood sugar.

Meanwhile, you can try gabapentin with methylcobalamin tablets (brand name- Prenerve-M). It may be available with some other brand name in your country.

Your family physician or some GP will know about it and may prescribe you.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions.

Regards,
