Question: I am having mild shooting pain under my left arm and in my left breast. Took 1 Nitroglycerine tablet eased pain for approximately 10 minutes. have been feeling bad for the last three days, headache, stomach discomfort, Diahrrea, upper respiratory congestion. Trying to decide whether I should go to the ER or wait and see if the pain is just something else? e-mail: YYYY@YYYY

Yes you should go to the emergency room as early as possible.A chest pain responding to nitrate is probably of cardiac origin.
Few baseline tests of cardiology like stress test and 2d echo should be done at the earliest to rule out coronary artery blockage.
Epigastric pain headache loose stools all can be a presentation of stable angina.
Visit emergency room.

I am Swastik, 27 years old , male, I am suffering from Gastritis and GERD for the last 15 years. I have consulted to gastroenterologists many times and they have done endoscopy 3 times on me and prescribed medicines.At present I am taking pantoprazole 40 mg ,ondansetron 4 mg b.i.d daily.In the endoscopy report it was found that I have Distal eosophagitis and gastritis.But,now also the symptoms are persisting.I feel epigastric burning pain in the morning and frequent bouts of vomiting also happens.Basically in the morning I feel nausea and then after eating anything I vomit.This is continuing for the last so many years.Please suggest some line of treatment. I had my gallbladder removed in May 2012 and I felt great afterwards. Now a few months later, I started getting severe epigastric pain that goes into my back and shoulder blades. It is so painful that it stops me in my tracks. It will usually last from 15 minutes to half an hour. I get this usually a few times a week. I feel nauseous when it is happening and sometimes vomiting makes it feel a bit better. I know I am about to get it as I usually feel a pain in my lower left ribcage or lower right ribcage before it happens. Any idea what this could be?
