I need to know if
1) Do your have hypertension related problems? if yes, on meds?
2) Is it associated while in exertion or at rest?
3) do you have breathlessness associated?
4) Do you often have acidity related problems?
5) is there an associated vomiting, blackout, dizzy feeling, etc

considering you age, an urgent baseline ECG is very much advisable.

from your answers a heart cause appears less likely. However, one can't be sure untill he sees the reports of ECG and BP recordings.
Your blood pressure readings and ECG readings will be vital in commenting about your cardiac status. Although your symptoms is less suggestive of one.
Severe anxiety or panic attack can have such symptoms, but you need to have a prior such episodes with normal cardiac investigations.

Good to know that your chest cast is fine, however it's very difficult to comment about ones cardiac status without knowing about ECG. Besides your BP is normal but on a higher limit.
Metallic Taste in mouth is generally a side effect of few medications. Are you on any meds, such as lithium or any?
