Dear Madam,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that regarding your first problem if you think its a bony swelling as you mention there is a very likely possibility that it could be bone spur.Rest it could be bony exostosis. You will need an Xray of wrist to determine what exactly is going on.

Secondly for thigh pains there can be many reasons but considering you main would be to rule out metabolic bone disorder . Serum calcium levels , Vitamin D levels should be done to look out for their deficiency . Next a CPK level needs to be done to rule out myositis . Rest I most probably think it is metabolic along with some component of osteoarthritic changes which must be present in knee considering your age. You should take the supplementation for the same if deficiency is there and also do quadriceps exercises to strengthen the thigh muscles.

Take care.
