What Causes Sharp Pain In The Stomach?
Question: I have this sharp pain in my stomach like every 5 10 minutes what do I do
Brief Answer:
It seems to be Gastritis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the question.
Since when is the pain? How many days?
What is the location of the pain in the stomach? Upper or lower or on one of the sides? Does it move from one place to the other?
Is there any nausea, vomiting or loss of appetite?
It could most likely be Gastritis due to increased acid secretion in your stomach.
You should try Tab Pantoprazole 40mg or Cap Omeprazole 20mg twice a day on empty stomach. This should be able to help you.
Do let me know the details to help you with your problem.

Brief Answer:
It could be one of many things. Investigations are required.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
You need to see a Surgeon or a Gastroenterologist.
You will need some investigations like an Ultrasound of the Abdomen and an Upper GI Endoscopy.
This should be able to lead us to the diagnosis and then the treatment can be started. Without investigations it would be difficult to comment upon what is wrong. Some blood tests would also be required like CBC, LFT and RFTs.
If you have got these investigations done then please let me know so we can get down to the problem and start treating it.
Take care and do let me know the reports and any queries on this issue,
